How do I prepare my child for surgery?
Honesty and play are key. We suggest using age-appropriate books or ‘playing doctor’ with a teddy bear. Our team will provide a specific ‘Prep Guide’ to help you explain the process to your little one.
Can I stay with my child in hospital?
Absolutely. We encourage parents to be present during the induction of anesthesia and to be there the moment your child wakes up. Your presence is their best medicine.
What happens if I have a question once we go home?
You are never alone. We provide clear post-operative instructions and a direct line of contact for any concerns during the recovery period.
